Established in 1947, Colimar Lodge was one of the first resorts in the Greenstone region to provide outdoor recreation opportunities for visitors to the Nipigon-Albany watersheds. We continue that tradition today, with facilities that offer you, the sportsperson, the chance to connect with the wilderness of Northwestern Ontario. Fantastic freshwater fishing, big and small game hunting, quality accommodations, fresh air, sparkling waters, and our Northern hospitality, are all yours for the asking! Let us show you the beauty of our "back yard!"

Colimar Lodge is unique to the resort industry, as it offers two types of outdoor experiences for the sportsperson. The main base camp in Jellicoe offers deluxe housekeeping cottages for drive-in visitors, and is situated in the heart of an area that boasts dozens of drive-in fishing and hunting opportunities. Our other vacation product provides remote wilderness trips to fly-in outpost camps, where the hard-core angler and hunter can enjoy exceptional fishing and hunting vacations.

The current owner of the Lodge is Fran Koning, who has operated the business for 14 years. Prior to running the resort, Fran worked for the previous owner for 20 years. Her husband, George McCullagh, does much of the flying for the outpost trips.
